The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is in the news right now. According to leaked reports, the series may include the Galaxy S24+ and the flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra, which launched in January with several new features and upgraded processors.

Rumours about next year’s Galaxy S series handsets have started to surface online. Over the past few weeks, we have learned about the camera and chipset of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S25. Now information about the handset’s battery has surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy S25 battery leak

GalaxyClub reports (in Dutch) that the Galaxy S25 could feature a 4,000 mAh battery. The battery of the upcoming phone is said to have a rated capacity of 3,881 mAh, like its previous model. It is being said that the model number of this handset is SM-S931.

Samsung has upgraded the battery on previous Galaxy S series phones. The older Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 models were seen with 4,000mAh batteries, while the Galaxy S22 had a smaller 3,700mAh battery. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S23 model launched in January 2023 with a 3,900mAh battery.

The battery capacity of the Galaxy S24 has seen a 100 mAh increase, and it has now reached 4,000 mAh. The Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra are equipped with 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh battery units, respectively. There is no information about when the alleged Samsung Galaxy S25 will be launched.

If reports are to be believed, Samsung may announce the Galaxy S25 lineup in January 2025 with significant design changes based on the company’s previous launch schedule. The vanilla model may feature a larger 6.36-inch display, while the current model has a 6.2-inch screen.

It is likely to come with the Exynos 2500 chipset in all markets. Samsung is rumoured to ditch the ISOCELL sensor and use a Sony image sensor as the main camera on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+
