BPL Ration Card: Big news is coming for the consumers who take ration from ration card. Consumers will have to get e-KYC done to continue the ration card.
So far, e-KYC (Ration Card E-Kyc) has not been done by many beneficiaries of the block area. This e-KYC is being done by the government after almost eight years.
E-KYC of every member of the ration card holder families is being done, but many people are still taking it lightly. The department is taking a tough stand on this.
Ration card will be blocked
If the ration card holders do not get e-KYC done, then their ration card will be blocked temporarily. This may cause problems for consumers in getting ration. It was told that there are many people whose Aadhaar is not updated, so their e-KYC is not being done.
At the same time, Block Supply Officer Manjit Maheshwari said that the beneficiaries who have not been able to get e-KYC done yet have been instructed to get e-KYC done soon. The ration card of the beneficiaries who do not get e-KYC done will be closed.
