TOLL TAX FREE: If we travel anywhere on highway expressway, then we have to pay toll tax while passing through the toll plaza. But now Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that there is no need to pay toll tax for the bad roads.
He was saying this in a program organized on GNSS based system. This system is to be implemented on more than five thousand kilometers in the current financial year.

GNSS-based toll system
NHAI is planning to implement a GNSS-based electric toll system along with the existing Fastag system. In this, initially, a hybrid model will be used, in which both RFID-based toll collection and GNSS-based toll systems will work together.
NHAI’s plan
NHAI has decided to implement GNSS GNSS-based toll system on a large scale and keeping in mind privacy concerns, it will be implemented for commercial vehicles.
But later it will be implemented for private vehicles as well. Along with this, NHAI has also recommended analysis of driver behavior and data analysis to detect fraud.
