Heatwave will bother you even today

According to the IMD forecast, there will be a partly cloudy sky and strong hot winds even today. Their speed can range from 25 to 35/hr. There will be heat wave conditions in many places.

The maximum temperature can be up to 44 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be up to 28 degrees Celsius. After this, there will be an orange alert from May 20 to 22, in which the maximum temperature will be 44 to 45 degrees Celsius.

According to Sky met, due to no weather activity in the plains of North India including Delhi, the temperature has increased significantly.

Bad conditions in these states including Delhi

Last year in 2023, the maximum temperature was 43.7 degrees Celsius on May 23. In 2022, the temperature on May 16 was 45.6 degrees Celsius. The record temperature for May was 47.2 degrees Celsius on 29 May 1944. But this time the situation may remain like this for about a week.

Night temperature can also remain between 27 to 30 degrees Celsius. Heatwave conditions become more fatal when it continues for more days and the temperature does not drop at night.
