CBSE Board: An important news has come out for the students studying from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The board has said that strict action will be taken against dummy admission. Class 12th students taking admission in dummy schools will not be allowed to appear in the board examination. The concerned student and his parents will be responsible for the consequences of not attending classes regularly.
Will not be able to appear in board examination
During the ongoing action against dummy schools, CBSE is considering changing the examination rules to prevent such students from appearing in the board examination. Such students will have to appear for the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) examination.
A CBSE official said that if a student is found missing from the school or is found absent during the inspection conducted by the board, then he may not be allowed to appear in the board examination. He said that strict action will be taken by the board against schools promoting such dummy culture or encouraging students who do not attend.
This is how much attendance should be
According to the rules of the board, a minimum of 75 percent attendance of students is mandatory to appear in board exams. According to the official, the board is considering that the board will not consider the candidature of students whose attendance is not 75% and disciplinary action can also be taken against the school registering such students for the exam.
It appears that the board has set a clear policy to ensure students maintain at least 75% attendance in order to be eligible to appear for the board exams. Students who fail to meet this attendance requirement will not be considered for the exams. Additionally, schools that register students with inadequate attendance could face disciplinary actions. This policy emphasizes the importance of regular attendance and accountability for both students and schools.
