The Hemant government will now provide an enhanced sum of Rs 2500 to the women of the state under the Maiya Samman scheme as a Christmas and New Year present.
Rs 2500 instead of Rs 1000
Hemant Soren had declared Rs 2500 instead of Rs 1000 in the recent assembly elections. Under the Maiya Samman scheme, funds will be transmitted exclusively to the bank accounts of women in the state.
When the Yojana money will deposit to bank accounts?
As per the data, the funds for the Maiya Samman Yojana have been distributed to every district. District officials have been directed to arrange major events at the district level. To celebrate this occasion, a magnificent event will be held in the capital, Ranchi. The Women and Child Development Department is accelerating all essential procedures to deposit this sum into women’s accounts. This sum will begin to be credited to women’s accounts right after Christmas. Details about the sum deposited into the women’s account will be dispatched to their mobile number.
To achieve this, the state government has acquired a set of 1.5 crore bulk SMS. The state government had directed all its ministers to attend the event taking place at the district level. It is important to highlight that this sum of Rs 6400 crore will be distributed to the accounts of 53 lakh 64 thousand women. Keep in mind that the earlier Hemant government had initiated this scheme during the Rakhi festival in August, and the amount has now been raised to Rs 2500 under the current administration.
