Hemant Soren is going set for 2nd term in Jharkhand

The current trends of both the states have now almost stabilized, and now it would not be wrong to say that the governments in both the states are going to be repeated. In Maharashtra, where the Mahayuti (BJP-Shiv Sena and NCP) is moving towards a huge majority, in Jharkhand, the Hemant government seems to be returning. In Jharkhand, under the leadership of Hemant Soren, JMM, Congress, and RJD seem to be performing better. In Jharkhand, where JMM is heading towards victory, Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren is trailing while brother Hemant Soren is getting a tough fight from a BJP candidate.

BJP-Mahayuti is leading in Maharashtra

According to the Election Commission website, at 2.15 pm, the BJP had won three seats and was leading by 125. BJP’s ally Shiv Sena (Mahayuti) had won three seats and was leading in 53, while NCP had won two seats and was leading in 37. In the state, the Congress party was leading in 20 seats, Shiv Sena UBT 19 and NCP Sharad faction 13 seats.

Maharashtra deputy chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday dismissed speculations of a dispute over the chief minister’s post, asserting that the Mahayuti coalition leaders would collectively decide on the matter.

Addressing reporters in Mumbai, Fadnavis emphasized the coalition’s unity as vote counting revealed a commanding lead for the BJP-led alliance. “There is no row over the CM’s post. Leaders of Mahayuti parties will decide,” he said, adding that the results reflect the state’s support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
