Amitabh Bachchan has made many superhit films for the Bollywood industry. Now in the Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 episode, Amitabh Bachchan has spoken openly on inter-caste marriage.
In the episode, Big B has openly discussed inter-caste marriage with contestant Kriti, in which Amitabh Bachchan revealed – he considers himself “half Sardar”. Because his mother, Teji Bachchan, was from a Sikh family, Big B’s aunt loved to call him “Amitabh Singh”.
Amitabh Bachchan recalled his childhood in the Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 episode. Big B said, “I find it strange to call it inter-caste. Because my father was from Uttar Pradesh, and my mother belonged to a Sikh family. In such a situation, I consider myself half Sardar. Big B says that his aunts from Punjab loved him very much, and Amitabh Bachchan further told me that when I was born, my aunt used to call me Kinna Sona Puttar Hai, Sadda Amitabh Singh.
Kriti shared things related to her personal life during the KBC 16 episode. Kriti said that her father also dreamed of participating in KBC, but later, he lost his memory; he used to watch KBC at home and continued to answer questions about KBC. By sitting on the hot seat, Kriti has fulfilled her father’s dream.
Amitabh also confessed in the same episode that he had difficulty in mathematics in school and that couore only 42 marks on an exam. When Kriti asked him if he would gift his wife Jaya Bachchan jewellery, he replied, “You have asked me a very personal question, but yes, I will gift her jewellery. Hopefully, no one from the Income Tax Department is watching this!”

Amitabh’s father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was a famous poet and writer. Harivansh Rai Bachchan was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1976 for the classic poem Madhushala. Amitabh’s mother, Teji Bachchan, was a social worker born into a Sikh family in Lyallpur, Punjab province of British India. Amitabh’s parents met at a college function in Lahore and got married in Allahabad in 1941.
