Worship sequence of Chaiti Chhath
Chhath festival is a difficult fast of four days, in which special attention is paid to purity and rules.
First day (1th April) – Nahai-Khaai: The devotees take a holy bath and consume satvik food.
Second day (2th April) – Kharna: After keeping a waterless fast throughout the day, prasad of jaggery-rice kheer, roti and fruit is consumed in the evening.
Third day (3April ) – Sandhya Arghya: Arghya is offered to the setting sun.
Fourth day (April 4) – Usha Arghya: The fast is concluded by offering Arghya to the rising sun.
