Stree 2 collection: The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer horror comedy Stree 2 is currently making a splash at the box office. In its second week, the film has become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
Stree 2 has left behind many films like Bahubali 2, Jawaan, Pathan and Animal. The audience is greatly enjoying the story of ‘Stree 2’. Conversely, the film’s songs are garnering significant attention immediately upon their release.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer Stree 2 is dominating the box office from day one. On day two the film managed to earn a massive 7.2 Crore according to the latest update .
The film’s domestic total stands at Rs 440.8 crore. Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 saw an overall occupancy of 17.25% on Friday, with the majority of tickets sold for the night shows.
According to satvik, a website which tracks the collection of Indian Films claimed that the film has collected 453.6 net revenue in 15 days. The film’s gross collection currently stands at 535 cr. The film is not only doing good in India, but it is also a global hit.
The film broke yet another record With total collections now standing at around Rs 650 crore worldwide, Stree 2 is the second-biggest hit of the year, behind Kalki 2898 AD, which had made over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. In terms of original Hindi films, Stree 2 surpassed the lifetime total of the Hritik Roshan starrer Fighter, in the very first week of its release.
Stree 2 is among the horror comedy universe created by its director Amar Kaushik. It is the sequel of Stree which was released in 2018.
The store continues from the same point where the first part ended. Apart from Shardha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Benarjee, with decent roles. Tammana Bhatiya also set the industry on fire after his Item Number in the film.
On Independence Day, Stree 2 debuted against Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa, both of which had disastrous box office results. Akshay also performed a small cameo in Stree 2 movie. His action sequence can be seen in post credit scenes. Actors like Varun Dhawan also have a small role in the film.
Shradhya Kapoor is often termed as the only female star currently who can bring crowds to the theater. Many major film producers have banned her. She maintained her stardom by his sheer brilliant performance .
