The film will now be released on 6 December. The production team also shared a detailed note, explaining that they had changed the release date due to the remaining shooting and subsequent post-production work.
The production team wrote in the note, “Pushpa 2 The Rule is one of the most awaited Indian films. After the immense success of Pushpa: The Rise, our responsibility to deliver excellence has increased significantly.
We are looking forward to completing the film and delivering it We are working tirelessly to release it on time. However, due to the remaining shooting and subsequent post-production work, we will not release the film on August 15, 2024.
This decision has been taken in the best interest of the film, the audience, and all stakeholders. Our goal is to deliver a memorable experience on the big screen without compromising on quality.
