Elon Musk is getting ready to make waves in the artificial intelligence space. At 8 p.m. Pacific Time (0400 GMT) on Monday, Musk will present a live demo of Grok 3. Its launch is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Indian time. Musk has described it as the most powerful chatbot in the world. There are rumors that it will cause confusion in China.

Musk is bringing Grok 3

Grok 3 has been specially trained using AI. It is capable of automatically identifying and fixing its mistakes. Achieving logical compatibility is the objective. Musk stated on his social networking site X on Saturday that he will be inactive during this time as he will be working on it with the team all week.

Will the world make a commotion?

The latest release from xAI has the potential to compete with existing platforms, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Last month, the Chinese startup DeepSeek made headlines all over the world. Its inexpensive and excellent content chatbot caused problems for the major tech companies in the world.

Even Nvidia’s stock fell rapidly. In the Apple App Store, it surpassed ChatGPT in terms of downloads.

OpenAI is bigger than xAI.

In December 2023, xAI raised $6 billion in its funding round, which comprised investment funds from Saudi Arabia and Qatar as well as chipmakers Nvidia and AMD. Despite still being far smaller than OpenAI, xAI has grown into an important startup because of this financing.

Make an offer for buying OpenAI

Apart from this, the OpenAI board recently rejected Musk’s offer to purchase the company for $97.4 billion on Friday. Musk and Sam Altman also got into a heated argument about X around this time. Musk’s proposal was turned down by Altman, who stated that while he is not prepared to sell OpenAI, he is able to purchase X.
