The leak suggests Oppo is looking for an even bigger battery for its next phone. One option has a 6,285mAh battery, while the other has an impressive 6,850mAh battery (expandable to 7,000mAh).
These batteries are expected to work with Oppo’s 80W SuperVOOC wired charging technology. In related news, the same tipster had reported earlier this month that Xiaomi is also developing a phone with a 7,000mAh battery.
The device will reportedly support 90W charging and come with the Snapdragon 8s Elite or 8s Gen 4 chipset. It is worth noting that neither Oppo nor Xiaomi has officially confirmed this.
