POCO C61: the company has recently launched the new C series smartphone Poco C61 in the Indian market for customers. This budget smartphone has come to us for review, we used this Poco mobile phone for several days. Today we will tell you how this phone is in daily use?

Let’s know how was our experience with Poco C61 and what were the pros and cons we found in this phone during testing. First of all, let’s discuss about the things we notice first, the design of the phone.

Poco C61 price in India

The price of 4GB / 64GB storage variant of this Poco mobile phone is Rs 6,999. At the same time, for the 6GB / 128GB storage variant of this handset, you will have to spend Rs 7,999. You can also buy this phone from e-commerce platform like Flipkart.

Poco C61 Performance

For speed and multitasking, MediaTek Helio G36 processor has been used in this Poco phone. The review unit is built with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. But when we started using the phone during testing, we found that the virtual RAM feature provided in this phone is really amazing.

The 6GB variant has the facility of 6GB virtual RAM. This means that in this variant priced at Rs 7,999, you can take advantage of up to 12GB of RAM. It is worth noting that you will get the benefit of virtual RAM only if you have free storage in the phone, because free space can also be used as virtual RAM which helps in increasing the RAM of the phone.

During testing, we opened 13-14 apps simultaneously in the background and then tried to multitask between all the apps one by one. We found that the phone handles this task properly but sometimes it takes some time for the app to load.

While we are talking about performance, you would also like to know how was our gaming experience with the phone? We tried to play Subway Surfers and BGMI games on this phone.

During a 30-minute gaming session, we found that there was no problem while playing Subway Surfers, but when we started playing the BGMI game, there were complaints of frame drop several times during the 30-minute gaming session. Overall, the performance of the phone was above average.

Poco C61 Battery

A powerful 5000 mAh battery has been given to bring life to this phone, one thing to note here is that this budget phone supports 10 watt charge. During testing, when we started testing the battery capacity of the phone, we found that the phone’s battery runs without getting tired when fully charged.

During testing, we did many things including navigation, calling, using social media apps, camera, gaming, binge watching and yet before the end of the day, there was 21 percent battery left in the phone’s battery tank. Where the battery of the phone has impressed us, on the other hand, the charging speed of the phone can disappoint everyone.

It takes 2.5 to 3 hours to completely charge the 5000 mAh battery with a 10 watt slow speed charger. This means that you will have to wait a long time to fully charge the phone, now the question is who has so much time in this busy life that he leaves the phone on charging for hours. Overall, the battery of the phone performed brilliantly but the charging speed did not live up to expectations.
