Poco F7 series launch worldwide (expected)
According to a post by TechXpert (@TX_Tech_Xpert), Poco is expected to reveal its F7 series during a global launch event on March 27. According to a different post by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra models will be part of this worldwide release.
The Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra had previously been seen on benchmarking and certification websites. It is anticipated that their specifications will resemble those of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro base models. In November 2024, the Redmi K80 series was released in China.
Poco F7 Pro features
It is expected that the Poco F7 Pro would have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, and NFC capability. A 5,830mAh battery that supports 90W cable fast charging may be included. A 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and a 6.67-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz may be included with the phone.
Poco F7 Ultra’s features
The Xiaomi 24122RKC7G model, also known as the Poco F7 Ultra, was recently detected on the Geekbench AI platform. It is anticipated that the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will enable 16GB of RAM. This phone can run Android 15 with a HyperOS 2.0 skin. A 50-megapixel triple back camera setup with a telephoto shooter may be included in the phone. It might have a 6,000mAh battery with 50W wireless and 120W wired charging capabilities.
The high-end phones might not come with the ordinary Poco F7 model, but it is rumored to be a “Special Edition” edition that will debut in India. It is anticipated that this phone would share features with the Redmi Turbo 4. Interestingly, the worldwide version of the base Poco F7 phone, model number 25053PC47G, was already detected in the European Economic Community (EEC) database, suggesting that it would soon be available in a few European markets.
