The company is giving Rs 1,000 in cashback on the Galaxy M16 5G and Rs 500 on the Galaxy M06 5G as part of the launch offer. Both smartphones will be sold offline at approved retail locations and online at Samsung.com and Amazon.in.
Features of the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G
Both the dual SIM (hybrid) compatible Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G run Android 15, although the more affordable M06 5G has One UI 6.0, while the Galaxy M16 5G has One UI 7. Both come with 6.7-inch screens, but the Galaxy M06 5G has an HD+ LCD panel with a maximum brightness of 800 nits, while the Galaxy M16 5G has an FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor powers both devices. While the Galaxy M06 5G is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM models, the Galaxy M16 5G has 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options. A microSD card can be used to increase the 128GB of storage on both handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G features a triple back camera setup, comprising a 2MP macro lens, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP primary camera. The Galaxy M06 5G also features a 2MP depth sensor and a 50MP primary sensor. The Galaxy M06 5G has an 8MP front camera, while the Galaxy M16 5G has a 13MP front camera for video calls and selfies. Both Samsung smartphones enable 25W fast charging and have a 5000mAh battery.
