The smartphone will be introduced during the upcoming Unpacked Event. Leaked pictures of the premium model of the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra have surfaced on social media. However, the company has not yet confirmed the official launch date. According to rumours, the smartphone could be launched on January 22.
Leaked reports claim the new devices may go on sale on February 7. Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series on January 17 and went on sale on January 31. During the event, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones. The new Galaxy S25 Slim is also expected to be unveiled at the January 22 event.
Other leaked reports about the Galaxy S25 Ultra have also surfaced. According to a leaked report, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 16GB of RAM, exclusive to its 512GB and 1TB storage variants. The base model with 256GB storage will have 12GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
According to a previous report, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may feature a 6.86-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back panel of the phone, the alleged handset may feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto camera, and an upgraded 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.
According to reports, the phone may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC chip as the processor. The phone can come with up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone can also come with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra launch date, pre-order
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 in South Korea are expected to begin between January 24 and February 3, 2025, with deliveries and in-store sales starting on February 7. In international markets, including the US, pre-orders will begin around January 22 or 23 and close in early February.
