The company stated that in order to enhance the entertainment experience at home, it retained the classic bar-and-woofer design while including a contemporary design, excellent sound, and networking that is ready for the future.

The Blaupunkt SBW Chicago 50 is a bar-and-woofer system that has a smooth grill for sound dispersion and a curved soundbar. The company claims that the front ports and side-firing vents on the accompanying woofer are constructed from high-quality materials for longer life.
The soundbar is claimed to provide crystal-clear sound at all volumes thanks to its 160-watt output and twin 2.5-inch speaker drivers. To create a thumping effect, the 6.5-inch bass speaker inside the woofer must produce deep, low-end frequencies. Also, the SBW Chicago 50’s inbuilt EQ system offers three adjustable sound modes: movies, music, and news, making it appropriate for a range of entertainment. According to the firm, even at reduced volumes, these modes enhance frequency response to create crisp dialog, increased bass, and sharp lyrics.
Blaupunkt has added Bluetooth, USB, Aux, and HDMI-ARC to the SBW Chicago 50 for connectivity. It also provides dual compatibility with a range of devices.
