Navratri Vrat Recipes: Chaitra Navratri will begin from March 30 and there will be a lot of merriment everywhere for nine days. During this time, people set up Maa’s Chowki in their homes and worship the nine forms of Maa as well as fast. Most people observe a fruit fast for the entire nine days. Sabudana Tikki
During Navratri fast, you can make and eat Sabudana Tikki in the evening or morning. For this, soak the Sabudana in advance and then boil and mash the potatoes and then mix it with the Sabudana. Add green chillies, dry mango powder, rock salt, roasted cumin powder etc. to it and make its tikki and shallow fry it. Eat it with curd.

Kuttu Ka Aata Cheela
During Navratri fast, you can make and eat Buckwheat Flour Cheela. This is a healthier option than Puri. You can serve it with chutney or fill it with potatoes and add rock salt and eat it with curd.

Sabudana Khichdi
During Navratri, you can try Sabudana Khichdi. Actually, Sabudana is such a food that keeps the stomach full for a long time. For this, soak Sabudana at least 6 hours in advance. Boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into small pieces. Now separate the water from the sago and spread it with a spoon so that it does not stick. Heat oil or ghee in a pan and fry cumin seeds, turmeric, green chilies, black pepper. After this, fry the peanuts and add potatoes. Now mix the sago and add rock salt as per taste. After this, cover and cook for some time. After 7 to 8 minutes, when the khichdi is ready, garnish it with green coriander and serve by adding lemon juice.

Lauki kheer
Lauki kheer is also a healthy and tasty option in Navratri. Wash and grate the gourd and then fry it in desi ghee and cook well in milk till it thickens. After this, add nuts like walnuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins etc. to it. A little cardamom powder will enhance the taste. Serve it hot.

Dahi Aloo
Many people do not eat rock salt during Navratri fast. In such a situation, you can make dahi wale aloo and eat it. For this, boil potatoes and add cumin seeds, green chillies and then add curd and eat. If you eat rock salt then add salt as per taste.
