Essential Dental Care Tips

  • Avoid eating too much sweet: Take a healthy and low sugar diet. Because too much sweet and acidic foods, such as cold drinks, candy and juice, can weaken the upper layer of teeth (enamel), which increases the risk of cavities.
  • Brush twice a day: Brush gently twice a day i.e. in the morning and at night before going to bed. Use a toothbrush with soft bristles, this reduces the chances of damage to your teeth and gums.
  • Use floss: Brushing alone is not enough to keep teeth clean. Flossing removes fine particles of food stuck between the teeth, which cannot be removed with a brush.
  • Avoid smoking and tobacco: Smoking and tobacco consumption are harmful for your teeth and gums. This increases the risk of gum disease and tooth sensitivity.
  • Visit a dentist: Get your teeth checked by visiting a dentist once every 6 months, not just when you have a toothache or any problem. This is necessary to keep teeth healthy.
