UP Encounter News: Uttar Pradesh Police has killed three terrorists of the Khalistani Commando Force in Pilibhit. In an encounter that took place in the early hours of Monday (December 23), three criminals who threw a bomb at a police post in Gurdaspur have been killed. According to the information, all three terrorists are said to be members of the Khalistani Commando Force.
Apart from two AK-47 guns and two Glock pistols, a large quantity of cartridges have also been recovered from them. The killed terrorists have been identified as Gurvinder Singh, Ravi and Jaspreet.
According to the information, this encounter occurred in the Puranpur area of Pilibhit. Police got information about the hiding of the three terrorists.
On this, the police surrounded them. Warning the terrorists, the police asked them to surrender, but they were not ready to do so. After this, UP and Punjab Police had an encounter with Khalistani terrorists in which all three Khalistani terrorists were killed.
Talking to a TV channel, UP DGP Prashant Kumar said that Pilibhit SP Avinash Pandey led this operation. He said that UP Police had received inputs about Khalistani terrorists from Punjab Police. He said this was a big success of the joint operation conducted in coordination between the police of the two states.
How was the encounter done?
A press note issued by UP Police gives detailed information about the Pilibhit encounter. It has been told that two AK guns and two Glock pistols have been recovered from three dreaded criminals who threw grenade bombs at a police post in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district. This encounter took place in Puranpur police station area of Pilibhit. All three criminals were seriously injured in the firing.
They were taken to Puranpur Community Health Center (CHC) for immediate treatment on a priority basis. Pilibhit Police has confirmed the death of all three criminals. Further action is being taken. The criminals were identified as Gurvinder (25), Virender Singh (23) and Jasan Preet Singh alias Pratap Singh (18), residents of Gurdaspur.
