Ahead of massive pollution, the government is forcing schools in the city to close. All primary schools in Delhi have been closed. Chief Minister Atishi gave information about this. He has tweeted in this regard. In this, he said that due to increasing pollution in Delhi, online classes will be held in all primary schools. Students will not have to go to school. Online classes will run in Delhi’s primary schools until further instructions.
GRAP-3 restrictions imposed in Delhi
Delhi’s air quality has reached a very poor level. Delhi’s AQI level crossed 400 on Thursday. In view of this level of pollution, the Commission for Air Quality Management has decided to implement GRAP-3 from November 15. This will stop construction-related work until pollution is controlled. All types of activities related to building and building vandalism and mining will be stalled.
Online classes started
Meanwhile, the government has decided to keep Delhi’s primary schools closed and conduct classes in online mode. The way air pollution is increasing in Delhi, this is why the government has taken this decision. Delhi CM Atishi wrote in a post on X on Thursday evening that due to rising pollution levels, all primary schools in Delhi will start online classes till further instructions.

In the last two days, the level of pollution in Delhi has gone from the worst category to the severe category. In view of this, on Thursday, the Delhi government held a meeting with environmental scientists in the Green War Room. After the meeting, Environment Minister Gopal Rai has instructed all the concerned departments to strictly follow the GRAP-3 guidelines.
