Arvind Kejriwal Update:- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has got bail today i.e. on 13 September in the alleged liquor scam. While granting bail to Kejriwal, the Supreme Court also said that his arrest was not wrong. The Supreme Court said, “Since the names of new witnesses and accused have come to light, the hearing is unlikely to be completed on time.
Let us tell you that the Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuinya bench made this decision. The court stated that since the charge sheet has been filed and the trial is not going to be completed in the near future, there is no justification to keep him in jail for a long time. However, Kejriwal will have to fill a bail bond of Rs 10 lakh.
The CBI arrested the national convener of Aam Aadmi Party on June 26, when he was in ED custody. After this, he got interim bail from the Supreme Court in the ED case. But because of his arrest in the CBI case, he was unable to get out of jail.
