NTA (National Testing Agency) is set to kick off the application process for NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate) 2025 shortly. This year, NTA is encouraging candidates to check their APAAR ID and Aadhaar during both the application and examination phases. Candidates are also urged to update their Aadhaar information. Additionally, NEET UG 2025 will be connected with the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry).
NTA stated that utilizing Aadhaar and APAAR ID in the NEET exam process is advised to improve the accuracy of information verification and streamline the registration process. The registration for NEET UG 2025 will commence soon, and candidates can update their Aadhaar details by visiting the nearest Aadhaar enrollment or update center.
According to the National Testing Agency, advancements in Aadhaar-based technology, such as the face authentication method introduced by UIDAI, allow candidates to benefit from quicker identity verification tools. In essence, technology has made the application process much more straightforward.
Just think and show your face, and the information will automatically populate. This will save you time and minimize errors. This innovative technology will enhance the security and transparency of the examination process.
What is APAAR ID?
APAAR, or Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry, is a unique identification system created for all students in India. This initiative is part of the government’s ‘One Nation, One Student ID’ program, which aligns with the new National Education Policy 2020. The goal is to provide every student with a unique identity card.
Update your Aadhaar details
Candidates for NEET UG are encouraged to update their Aadhaar information, ideally matching the data on their Class 10th marksheet or passing certificate, along with facial recognition. Utilizing Aadhaar allows for automatic detail population and helps reduce errors during the application process. Additionally, make sure your Aadhaar is linked to an active mobile number for OTP-based verification.
