Bihar govt makes big decisions regarding exams. After the controversy, the government cancelled the 70th examination of BPSC held on December 13 at Bapu Pariksha Center in Patna. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Parmar Ravi Manu Bhai recently shared with the media that the 70th BPSC exam took place across 912 centers in the state, with around 4.75 lakh candidates participating.

The results from all 912 centers will be announced at the same time

The Chairman noted that everything went smoothly at the exam centers, assuring that there was no leak of the exam paper. He mentioned that while the exam won’t be canceled, there will be a re-exam at the Bapu center. After this re-exam, results from all centers will be released together.

He also pointed out that some troublemakers tried to cause disruptions at the Bapu exam center. As a result, candidates at that center will be given extra time to complete their exams, following UPSC guidelines. The BPSC has requested the district administration to investigate the disturbances, and a team led by the Patna SSP has been set up for this purpose. Reports suggest that around two dozen troublemakers have been identified, and the Commission’s IT cell is also looking into the situation. Strict actions will be taken against those found guilty after the investigation.
