Arvind Kejriwal:- Today, i.e. on Thursday, women workers of Bharatiya Janata Party were seen protesting outside the house of former CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi.
Along with this, they accused the women of Delhi of ‘cheating’ in the name of ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’. At the same time, Delhi Police has taken action against the women. Delhi Police has detained many BJP women workers.
Let us tell you that before the Delhi elections, there was a fierce conflict between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP. Both the parties are accusing each other.
It has been claimed by the BJP that before the Punjab Assembly elections, AAP had also announced a similar scheme, but the women there have not yet received Rs 1,100 per month, as promised by the party in 2022.
The Delhi government had announced the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana with a monthly payment of Rs 1,000 in the 2024-25 budget. Kejriwal said that if AAP remains in power in Delhi, this amount will be increased to Rs 2,100.
On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused former BJP MP from Delhi Parvesh Verma of distributing Rs 1000 to women. Atishi demanded raids from ED, CBI, and Delhi Police. Atishi said – There are still crores of rupees in cash lying at Parvesh Verma’s house. Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year.
Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha president Richa Pandey said, “We are here to question Arvind Kejriwal about his promise. He had made similar promises in Punjab but did not fulfil them. This is a fraudulent scheme aimed at collecting data of women and mislead them before the elections.”
