The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is gearing up for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, aiming to derail the Aam Aadmi Party’s chances of winning on February 5. The BJP leadership is fully immersed in their campaign efforts. Recently, the Delhi BJP released a video showcasing the former home of Aam Aadmi Party leader and ex-Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, dubbing it ‘Sheesh Mahal.’ They’ve labeled it as the ‘Sheesh Mahal of the debauchery of Mahathug Arvind Kejriwal.’

BJP targets Kejriwal with a new video
The Delhi BJP shared this 14-minute video on social media platform X and their YouTube channel. Titled ‘Mahathug Arvind Kejriwal’s Ayyashi Ka Sheesh Mahal,’ the video highlights the luxurious features of Kejriwal’s residence, resembling a high-end hotel with top-notch amenities.

What’s in the 14-minute video?

The BJP has referred to this residence as ‘Sheesh Mahal,’ a name that previously appeared in a documentary. This marks the first time a video of Kejriwal’s old home has been released. The BJP also disclosed the costs of various lavish items featured in the video, claiming that the smart LED turntable lights in the residence are worth Rs 19.5 lakh, while 80 curtains equipped with body sensors and remotes range from Rs 4 crore to Rs 5.6 crore.

The BJP has asserted that the cost of 16 television sets amounts to Rs 64 lakh, while a recliner sofa is priced at Rs 10 lakh, an oven at Rs 9 lakh, and a microwave at Rs 6 lakh. Additionally, they have disclosed the prices of other high-end items, such as a decorative pillar valued at Rs 36 lakh, a toilet seat at Rs 12 lakh, and an automatic door costing Rs 70 lakh.

Previously, the BJP alleged that marble worth several crores, commodes priced at Rs 4 lakh, and curtains costing Rs 8 lakh have been installed in the Chief Minister’s residence. They claimed that the renovation of the Chief Minister’s residence has incurred expenses running into several crores. On January 5, BJP candidate Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, representing the New Delhi assembly seat, sent a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Atishi.
