E- KYC : For this, there will be no need to go to the ration shop of the ration dealer related to your village. The District Supply Department is verifying all the consumers included in the ration card of Antyodaya and eligible households. For this, every family member included in the ration card will have to go to the ration shop and scan his thumb in the e-POS machine.
Only after this it will be properly verified. After this order of the department, people started crowding the ration shops to get e-KYC done. For convenience, the department has now given permission to get e-KYC done at any ration shop in the entire state.
Kushinagar District Supply Officer Dilip Kumar said that now consumers will be able to get e-KYC done by contacting the ration dealer as per their convenience. Therefore, all ration card holders will have to go to the ration shop itself to get e-KYC done. On successful completion of the next authentication, the e-KYC data will be stored on the departmental server.
Beneficiaries whose biometric authentication fails (maximum 4 attempts in a day, including 3 attempts of finger print and last attempt of iris) have the option to do biometric authentication for e-KYC anytime in the next 3 months.
He informed that such beneficiaries of the state, who do e-KYC in any other state and beneficiaries of other states, who do successful biometric authentication for e-KYC in this state. Verification and updating of their e-KYC data will be subject to the guidelines issued by the Government of India.
During the e-KYC campaign, the head of the ration card will have to provide information about the mobile number read on the app and the relationship with the head in the ration card etc. During verification, e-KYC of such beneficiaries who are residing in other states can be done in the same state. They are not obliged to come to their state for e-KYC.
