Finally the wait is over. The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has announced that the admit cards for the GATE exam are now available as of January 7, 2025. Candidates can access their hall tickets on the official website at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/. It is recommended that candidates regularly check the portal to download their admit cards as soon as they are released. The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2025 will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format.
The exam will last for three hours and will be held in two sessions each day. The first session is scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second session will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Each paper will carry a total of 100 marks, and there will be negative marking for the multiple-choice questions. To download the admit card, candidates can follow the simple steps outlined below.
To obtain the GATE Exam Admit Card, candidates should first visit the official GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac. On the homepage, they need to click on the ‘GATE 2025 Admit Card’ link. After that, they will be directed to a new page where they must enter their login details, including their registration number and password. Once they click the submit button, the GATE 2025 hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should download the admit card and print it out for the exam day.
GATE Exam 2025: GATE exam scores will be valid for three years.
The GATE exam will feature 30 different papers, and candidates can select one or two papers to take. The scores obtained in the GATE exam will remain valid for three years from the date the results are announced. A provisional answer key will be published following the successful completion of the exam, and candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections. After a review by subject experts, the final answer key and results will be released, and the scorecard will be available on the official website.
