Good News For Liquor Lovers: All brands of liquor have started being available in Chhattisgarh from September 11. Let us tell you that in the last five years, a lot of difficulties have been faced. That too from other states at 30 to 40 percent higher prices. Influential people used to get their favorite liquor from Nagpur and cities of Madhya Pradesh. But the middle and lower class people had to depend on local liquor even if they did not want to. But now the government has abolished the license system and restored the old system. Therefore, all brands of liquor will start being available from tomorrow.
After the formation of the new government in Chhattisgarh, the old liquor license system is reformed and the licence were issued two months earlier in July. Under this, the Beverage Corporation started the work of purchasing liquor. For this, the government called back IAS Shyam Dhavade from Bastar Commissioner and handed over the command of Beverage Corporation to him.
The previous government had changed the rules
Actually, the previous government had changed the rules and implemented FL-10. Under this license system the middleman had usually the more power as he buys liquor and then supplies it.They also make a huge commission in the system . But foreign companies still dominate the liquor and people also demand liquor of foreign companies. But foreign companies do not give commission. Therefore, by giving whatever money the middlemen asked for, the local companies had established their rule in Chhattisgarh.
IAS Shyam Dhavade was made Commissioner

Dhavade said that now there will be no problem of brand and availability in Chhattisgarh. According to Dhavade, agreement has been done with 34 liquor companies so far. 20 lakh boxes of good brands have been ordered. Goods have started coming from outside. He said that between 10 and 15 September, the problem of brand and availability will end in all the shops of Chhattisgarh. All levels of foreign liquor will be available in Chhattisgarh.
