Sukma EID Blast: A woman is reported to have died after being hit by an IED planted by Naxalites in Sukma district of Naxal-affected Chhattisgarh on Monday. 27-year-old Kawasi Sakki, who died in the accident, had gone to graze cattle and was hit by a planted IED.
The accident took place in Dabbamarka village of Kistaram police station area. According to reports, the woman had gone to graze cows in the forest. During this time, her foot suddenly fell into an IED planted by Naxalites.

The woman died a painful death due to the explosion in the IED. After the death of the woman, there is an atmosphere of mourning among the family members. According to Sukma ASP Nikhil Rakhecha, “On the morning of August 11, the woman had gone to graze the cow in the forest.
Meanwhile, at around 2 pm, the tribal woman’s foot came under the pressure of the of the IED bomb planted by the Naxalites. Which caused a blast. The blast was so powerful that both the legs and one hand of the woman were blown off. The woman also died a painful death on the spot.

ASP Nikhil Rakhecha has confirmed the incident and said that innocent people are continuously dying due to the IED planted by the Naxalites at various places.
It is being told that after the IED blast, a big crater has also been formed at the spot. The people nearby informed the police about this accident. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it to the hospital for a postmortem.
