According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain with storm in many areas of Bengal on Tuesday. Guidelines have been issued that this rain will continue till Saturday. Fishermen have been refused to go to sea. East Modinipur and South Pargana districts are expected to receive the most rainfall. In view of the possibility of districts being affected by the storm, guidelines have been issued to remain alert.

According to the IMD, a warning has been issued of a cyclonic storm over the Bay of Bengal by October 23. It can affect the coastal parts of Odisha and West Bengal. A warning has been issued that the weather system will move towards the west-northwest direction and turn into a pressure by the morning of October 22. Along with this, it is expected to turn into a cyclonic storm over the east-central Bay of Bengal by October 23.

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued of heavy rains with thunderstorms in the coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal from October 23 to 25. Fishermen have been advised to return to the coast by October 21.

Along with this, a warning has been issued for heavy to very heavy rains in many areas of Odisha since October 23. Along with this, there is a possibility of rainfall up to 20 cm in many places of the coastal region on 24-25 October. Heavy rains are expected in many parts of Andhra Pradesh.
