New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat: Currently, Vande Bharat Express is the most popular train in the country. Vande Bharat has been hugely popular since its inauguration. Currently, more than 100 Vande Bharat trains ply across the country. Now more good news has come. Railways have planned to run Vande Bharat trains on many new routes, including the New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Express. Ahead of the festive season, Indian Railways has started this new service. New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat is providing a great option to passengers struggling with tickets to reach home during Diwali and Chhath Puja. With this service connecting Patna to Delhi, the journey of thousands of passengers will now not only be easier but also faster.

The Indian Railways Ministry has announced that this train is currently being run on a trial basis and will stop at important stations between Delhi and Patna like Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Junction, Prayagraj, and Kanpur.

 

How long should it take? New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat

This Vande Bharat Express, covering a total distance of 994 km, will complete the journey from Delhi to Patna in just 11 hours and 35 minutes. In comparison, the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express takes 11 hours 55 minutes, while the Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Tejas Rajdhani covers the distance in 11 hours 30 minutes.

New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat: Time, Fare

Now its time to discuss New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat train timing and fare. As per the railway, the Vande Bharat Express will run three days a week from Delhi to Patna on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The service from Patna to Delhi will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On its return journey, the train will depart from Patna at 8.25 am and reach Patna at 8.30 pm.

Only chair car seats are available in this service, with the AC chair car fare being Rs 2,575 and the executive chair car fare being Rs 4,655. The Vande Bharat Express service will start on October 30, with its upcoming trips scheduled for November 1, 3, and 6, while the return service from Patna to Delhi will run on November 2, 4, and 7.
