A case of accidental death has been registered at Pachora City Police Station under Section 19 regarding the train accident in Jalgaon District 4. After the rumour of sparks, smoke and fire, the passengers of Pushpak Express got down in a hurry on the adjacent track. They did not know the train could come on the adjacent railway track.
Unfortunately, the driver of Karnataka Express had slowed down the train’s speed here, but he could not see the people due to the curve. According to reports, the driver of Karnataka Express had reduced the train’s speed to less than 30 km per hour due to the curve. According to the information, more than two dozen passengers have been admitted to the hospital. It is estimated that the death toll of passengers may increase further.
The incident happened due to the spreading of rumours
According to the information received from the police, 13 people have died a painful death due to the rumours spread by two tea sellers. Police said that the Maharashtra government is also holding an important meeting on this matter.
Along with the Railway Police, the Maharashtra Police will investigate this train accident. The Railway Board has announced that it will give Rs 1.5 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the seriously injured. Apart from a fan appointment, up to Rs 5,000 has been announced for his minor injury.
