Captain Kapil Dev, who won the World Cup for India in 1983, has made a big statement about Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. Kapil Dev has directly compared him with Virat Kohli. Kapil Dev says that Rohit knows his strength very well and he does not jump around like Virat Kohli.
Rohit Sharma is currently the captain of the Indian team, which is going to take on England in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 today i.e. on Thursday 27 June. Team India has not lost a single match in this tournament till Super 8.
Kapil Dev, while talking to ABP News, said, “Rohit knows what his strength is. A player who knows his strength, can lift a little faster. Virat Kohli can lift a 150 or 250 kg dumbbell, it does not mean that everyone can lift it.” The former Indian captain further said about Virat-Rohit, “Rohit knows a lot about his cricket. He plays within his limits. here is no better player than him by staying within those limits, not even Virat.”
