According to a report by Dainik Jagran, an inspector said that a camp near the Tulsi intersection on Old GT Road caught fire. How Did the Fire Start?
On Thursday morning, some people were warming themselves by lighting a bonfire. They left without putting it out. Due to the wind, the fire from the bonfire reached the tent, causing smoke and flames to rise. This created panic among the people. After getting the news, the fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire, but one tent was completely burnt. The items inside the tent were also reduced to ashes.

Fire in Garbage Heap in Parking Lot
After this incident, a garbage heap caught fire in Navprayag parking. When people saw smoke rising, they informed the fire department. The fire brigade team arrived and quickly extinguished the fire.
Chief Fire Officer Pramod Sharma said that the fire in the Anti-Corruption Organization camp was caused by an unattended bonfire.
