Major setback for AAP, Kejriwal-Manish Sisodia lost, BJP is winning

Categories:

The Delhi Assembly Election results have confirmed the victory of BJP. AAP has been kicked out of power. Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia have faced defeat in the elections, marking the end of a 27-year dry spell for the BJP in Delhi. Celebrations are now underway at the BJP headquarters. The results for all 70 seats are starting to come in.

The picture for all 70 Delhi seats is becoming clearer. Results are rolling in, and both Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi and Manish Sisodia from Jangpura have lost their races. The only silver lining for AAP is that Chief Minister Atishi Kalkaji managed to win.

So far, the BJP is leading in 47 seats, while AAP is trailing with just 23. The BJP is gearing up for a celebration, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the party office around 5 pm to speak to the workers.

Reflecting on the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, social activist Anna Hazare commented that Arvind Kejriwal’s reputation took a hit due to issues with alcohol, leading to a loss of trust among the people of Delhi. He emphasized that candidates should have good character and clean images when running for office, but AAP seemed to overlook this, getting caught up in alcohol and money.

Hazare pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal’s reputation has taken a hit because of the liquor scam, which is why he’s not getting as many votes this time around. People notice that while Kejriwal talks about integrity, he’s been caught up in alcohol-related issues. Politics is always full of accusations, and in times like these, a leader needs to connect with the public and show that the claims against him are untrue. Just throwing around accusations doesn’t change the facts.

On another note, CM Atishi has secured a win from the Kalkaji seat, beating BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri by a solid 3,500 votes. This is great news for AAP, especially since both Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia faced losses in the elections.
