Maha Kumbh 2025: Many devotees will dip in faith at Sangam on Mauni Amavasya at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. On Wednesday, about 10 crore pilgrims are expected to visit Maha Kumbh. Given the large number of pilgrims, significant preparations are being made at the administrative level. Unprecedented preparations have been made to ensure the devotees do not face any problems. A holiday has been declared for all schools in Prayagraj. There will also be a holiday in the courts.

According to the state government report, more than 15 crore pilgrims have taken a holy bath in the last 17 days in Maha Kumbh-2025. Security measures have reached unprecedented levels. Security personnel have been deployed on every street and in every locality. AI-powered CCTV cameras have also been installed. Drones are keeping a close watch on the confluence sites.

The state administration has declared the area a no-vehicle zone for the next few days, as a crowd of devotees could be expected on Mauni Amavasya. The area is spread over several hectares along the confluence of Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati.

The Prayagraj administration has also appealed to residents to avoid using four-wheelers and two-wheelers to transport senior citizens to the Sangam. According to the news agency, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar said residents are requested to use two-wheelers or walk to move devotees worldwide more easily.

Significant administrative preparations have been made to welcome the devotees to Mauni Amavasya. The state government plans to shower them with flowers from helicopters at the Sanga at 6:455 a.m. on Wednesday.
