Weather Update:- The weather has changed across the country. After rain and strong winds in North India, the temperature has dropped. At the same time, the humid heat in many parts of South India has made life difficult for the people. The weather remains pleasant due to light rain in the Northeast, while the movement of clouds continues in Central India.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain and thunderstorms in many states. IMD has issued an orange alert in Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya on Monday, April 14. Apart from this, heat waves can be seen in Rajasthan and Telangana today.
Rain warning in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, a heatwave may start in some parts of North West India and Gujarat from Tuesday, April 15. At the same time, thunderstorms and lightning are expected in eastern India and adjoining east Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during the next 4-5 days. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in North West India is likely to gradually increase by 3 to 5 degrees centigrade from April 13 to 18.
Weather conditions in Delhi-NCR?
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurugram today. IMD has not issued any weather warning for Delhi-NCR.
Rain warning in West Bengal
Pre-monsoon rain is being seen in many parts of West Bengal. According to Skymet Weather, continuous pre-monsoon activities can be seen in Kolkata from April 12 to April 17. Clouds may appear in the evening; strong winds may blow.
Rain warning in Northeast and South India
The weather in Northeast India is constantly changing. According to the Meteorological Department, pre-monsoon weather has been active in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram since April 10. The Skymet Weather report states that moderate to heavy rains will continue this week. Apart from this, stormy winds can blow.
Due to heavy rains, there is a possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas. On the other hand, pre-monsoon rains continue in Kerala. Between March 1 and April 10, 92 percent more rain has been recorded in southern peninsular India. 96 percent more rain has been recorded in Kerala.
