Weather Update:- In the first week of April, most of the country’s states are experiencing severe heat. Due to the scorching heat and intense sunlight, people are having a miserable time living. In the month of April itself, the heat has started showing its fierce form. Temperatures are rising rapidly in many areas of North India. North and Western India, including Delhi, will experience severe heat starting today, April 7. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the next 3 days due to the heat. However, rain may also be in the hilly states on April 9 and 10.
HeatWave Alert
According to the IMD, the maximum temperature in North West India, Maharashtra, and South Peninsular Plateau may increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius during the next 4 days. After this, a drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius is possible. During the next 4 days, the maximum temperature in Central India is also expected to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. In Gujarat, a maximum temperature increase of about 2 degrees Celsius can be seen during 2 days.
Intense heat alert in these states.
The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in many areas starting today, i.e. 7 April. The Meteorological Department says that hot winds are likely to blow at some places in the state of Gujarat till April 10. Also, hot winds will likely blow at some places in Saurashtra and Kutch on 6 and 7 April.
Rain warning in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Kerala, Mahe on April 7, i.e. today. There may also be sporadic rain in Karnataka till 8 April, in East and Northeast India between April 10. A hailstorm is expected in Bihar on 9 April. According to the Meteorological Department, light or moderate rain is likely in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on 9 and 10 April.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today, i.e. on 7 April. Along with this, strong winds and lightning are possible in these states.
