According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued regarding rain in eastern and central India during the next 3-4 days. Apart from this, heavy rains have been predicted in eastern India during the next 6-7 days.
On the other hand, in Bihar, these days less rain is being seen in some districts and more rain in some places.
Delhi Weather Update
The Meteorological Department has forecast that Delhi will remain cloudy on Friday. There is also a possibility of light rain along with thunder in Delhi.
The minimum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 27 degrees, while the maximum can be 33 degrees. Similar weather can be seen in Delhi tomorrow, i.e., on Saturday as well. After this, an alert has been issued again in view of heavy rains from Sunday to Tuesday. A yellow alert has also been issued for the next 3 days.
Rain warning in these states of India
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for the entire week in view of heavy rains in many states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Apart from this, heavy rains have been predicted in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand till August 21.

Heavy rains are likely at some places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi today, i.e., on August 16, while an alert has been issued for heavy rains in some parts of Rajasthan.
Light to moderate rains are likely in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. Heavy rain may occur in western Madhya Pradesh this week. Heavy rains are also likely in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Rain warning in UP
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in many districts of Uttar Pradesh for the next few days. According to the IMD, rain is expected in many districts, including Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Rampur, Bareilly, and Shahjahanpur today.
At the same time, on August 17, an alert has been issued regarding rain in many districts, including Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Bijnor, and Moradabad.
There may be rain in Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, and surrounding areas.
A yellow alert has also been issued for these areas. Waterlogging, damage to Kutcha buildings, impact on power operations, impact on traffic, flooding of rivers, and damage to crops may occur in these areas.
