Weather today: Heavy rain continues in many states of the country including the national capital Delhi. Rain has been falling in some states for 48 hours. The continuous heavy rain has disrupted normal life.

In Delhi and NCR, the rain continued for nearly the entire day on Friday, causing significant inconvenience to the local population. But, today i.e. on Saturday, the mood of the weather seems to have changed. Noida has been witnessing sunshine since the morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will change in the national capital Delhi from today. The weather can be pleasant in Delhi-NCR. At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in many states including Himachal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh.

 Uttar Pradesh and Haryana Weather

On September 14, the Meteorological Department predicts light to moderate rain in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and heavy rain in others. Some areas of Haryana expect light to moderate rainfall, while some areas are likely to experience heavy rainfall.

 Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh rain Alert

The IMD predicts heavy rainfall in eastern Madhya Pradesh on September 17 and heavy rainfall in some places in Chhattisgarh between September 14 and 17. Western Madhya Pradesh will experience similar weather on September 18 and 19.

Yellow alert in Delhi

The Regional Meteorological Center of Delhi has predicted light rain and thundershowers on September 14. The current rain is expected to subside after this date, and another round of rain is expected to start from September 18. The Meteorological Department predicts a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees Celsius in Delhi and a minimum temperature of around 21 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

Heavy rain warnings in these states

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain in many areas of the country. We expect heavy rains in the Gangetic areas of West Bengal due to the formation of a low pressure area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. In addition, Odisha and Jharkhand can expect heavy rains until September 15.

A series of heavy rains can be seen in Odisha, West Bengal and Southern Chhattisgarh on Saturday. Heavy rains can occur in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Sikkim. A warning of heavy rains has been issued for 72 hours in all the states of Central Maharashtra, Gujarat and Northeast.
