On the other hand, a new western disturbance has entered the west Himalayan region, which is expected to bring some relief. Rain is expected in many states for the next two days. An area of ​​​​cyclonic winds is being formed over the Bay of Bengal, so rain in more than 10 states is possible.

Weather conditions in North India
The Meteorological Department says that a new western disturbance is forming in the mountains due to the possibility of light rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. Rain is expected in Uttarakhand on February 19 and 20. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Punjab, Haryana, and West Uttar Pradesh on February 19 and 20 and in Rajasthan from February 17 to 19.

Rain warning in these states

Rains may occur in the northeastern states during the next 7 days. The Meteorological Department says that cyclonic winds are seen blowing 1.5 km above the sea in Nagaland and its surrounding areas. It is estimated that on February 19, along with heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya, thunderstorms are also expected in most of the northeastern states. At the same time, light rains may be seen in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim this week.

Light rains are also expected in Bihar, Jharkhand, Northeast India and Central Uttar Pradesh today, i.e. on February 18. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, and  North-East India on 19 and 20 February.
