IMD has issued an alert for rain in Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu, and Kashmir in the next 24 hours. Snowfall is also expected. Light to moderate rain and snowfall are also scheduled in Arunachal Pradesh.

Sporadic rains have been recorded in Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland in Northeast India. Rain is expected to start in South Tamil Nadu within the next 24 hours.
