Weather Update: The mood of the weather is changing very fast across the country. Snowfall and rain are continuing in many states. According to the Meteorological Department in Bihar, easterly winds will start blowing in place of northwestern winds at the lower surface beginning Sunday.

In the last three days, the temperature in Bihar has dropped to 3.6 degrees Celsius., indicating an increasing severity of winter. In hilly areas, snowfall also started earlier this year in Nainital. In addition, increasing snowfall in Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh has created new trouble for everyone.

Severe cold also affects the plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Rain has also caused a temperature decrease in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert due to heavy rains in many parts of the country.

Cold wave continues in Rajasthan. The temperature in Fatehpur was recorded to be below zero. Heavy cold has been recorded in the northern parts, including the Shekhawati region. According to IMD, the minimum temperature will fall to 2-6 degrees Celsius in the coming days, and dry weather is expected.

Weather conditions in Delhi

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a cold wave is expected in Delhi’s capital. On December 14, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 6 degrees, and the maximum is 21 degrees.

On December 15, the minimum temperature was 6 degrees Fahrenheit, and the maximum was 20 degrees Fahrenheit. On December 18 and 19, the minimum temperature was also 6 degrees Fahrenheit, and the maximum was 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Snowfall affected the northern hills, and frost began forming in many places.

According to IMIMD, the temperature is also dropping in Punjab, Haryana, DeDelhihand, and Western Uttar Pradesh. In the coming days, these states may experience severe cold. At the same time, the cold wave is expected to increase in many areas, where the minimum temperature can be even lower.

Rain alert in these states

According to the IMD, an alert has been issued regarding light rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Karnataka during the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department has said that light to moderate rain can be recorded on the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, and Andaman-Nicobar Islands. At the same time, a cold wave warning has been issued in some areas of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of frost in many Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh areas.
