Preparation of the field before the monsoon

Bihar-Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh are such states where it is necessary to prepare the fields before the monsoon. In such a situation, weed control, soil-borne diseases, and insect-borne diseases should be completely resolved before the monsoon rains in May and June.

Be it paddy crop or vegetable farming or gardening, summer plowing is very necessary before doing it. While plowing the fields, at least 1.5 to 2 feet of plowing is necessary.

This has the advantage that along with turning the soil, many such weeds are also destroyed which is harmful to Kharif crops.

Why is ploughing of the field necessary

Plowing of fields before monsoon is also considered necessary because the larvae and eggs of soil-borne insects come out of the ground which are eaten by birds.

This destroys them, due to which the work of weed control, disease control, and insect control is done very easily. Farmers who plant fruits and flowers should keep in mind that they should cultivate fruits and flowers by constructing bunds so that there is no accumulation of water.

By making drains, fruits, and flowers will not suffer much damage if there is heavy rain during the rainy days.
