IMD Weather Forecast: Because of the continuous monsoon rains, life has become difficult for people. Heavy rains have caused flooding in some states.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast of heavy rains in many states on Monday, September 9. Andhra Pradesh and Odisha have received a red alert. An orange alert has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and West Bengal.

There will be heavy rains in these states

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana till September 10, 2024. In addition, many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra expect heavy rains on September 9. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in Vidarbha on the 12th.

Torrential rain has started once again in Rajasthan. In the next 24 hours, many parts of Rajasthan can see heavy rain with thunder. Monsoon is likely to remain active in eastern Rajasthan for the next two-three days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in many areas of Ajmer, Udaipur and Jaipur divisions.

According to the IMD, heavy rain is expected in many areas of coastal West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand. There is a possibility of rain again in Uttar Pradesh. Rain has started in many parts of the state including Lucknow from Monday.

Delhi weather

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Delhi has predicted light rain and thundershowers during the day, as well as cloudy skies. We expect rain to persist in Delhi until September 14.
