Weather Forecast:- The mood of the weather seems to be changing. Heavy rain and snowfall are being seen in many states of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in many areas including Delhi and Uttar Pradesh may fall 3 to 6 degrees Celsius below normal.
Talking about UP, the cold has increased due to clouds and drizzle in some parts of the state for the last two days. Dense fog is expected in many state districts during the next two days. Drizzle also occurred in some places, which has brought down the temperature. Snowfall and rain are seen in many mountains. The temperature has shrunk rapidly due to rain in the plains as well.
According to the Meteorological Department, a drop in temperature can be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Western Uttar Pradesh. The winter has started with the fall in temperature in the northeastern states, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
Apart from this, some areas of South India may also see a drop in temperature due to rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many country states.
Cold wave Alert
According to the IMD, a warning for a cold wave in western Uttar Pradesh was issued two days ago, on 10 and 11 December. Apart from this, a cold wave is expected in Uttarakhand today. According to the Meteorological Department, a cold wave is expected in eastern Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh between 10 and 12 December.
According to the Meteorological Department, a cold wave will start in western Rajasthan between 10 and 13 December and in Madhya Pradesh between 11 and 13 December. According to the Meteorological Department, cold is expected in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till today, i.e.December 10r.
Rain in South India
According to the IMD, an alert has been issued regarding rain accompanied by thunderstorms in many areas of South India. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains and thunderstorms continue in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. IMD has predicted that rains may continue in South Interior Karnataka on Thursday and Friday.
