Weather Update:- Cold has started knocking in North India, including the national capital, Delhi. The outbreak of cold is now seen in most of the country’srstatesesry. The minimum temperature in Delhi has reached 7.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Sikar, Rajasthan, is 5 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has warned of rain and cloudy weather in Rajasthan for the next two days. Due to its effect, the cold will increase, and the clouds will remain. Due to the lack of sunlight, it will feel very cold even during the day. Givenf the cold wave warning, children and older people are advised to stay home.

The IMD has warned that moderate rain or snowfall may occur in the west Himalayan region from December 8 to December 1 due to the western disturbance1. Heavy rains can also be seen in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Chandigarh from December 8 to December 9.

Rainfall forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may be seen in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal and Puducherry from December 10 to December 13. Also, heavy rainfall is expected in coastal Tamil Nadu on December 12.

An alert has been issued regarding rain in Yanam and coastal Andhra Pradesh from December 11 to December 12. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate rainfall is likely in Kerala and Mahe from December 11 to December 13.

Dense fog warnings

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may be seen in Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh from December 8 to December 10. Apart from this, dense fog may prevail in Uttar Pradesh from December 9 to December 12.
