Weather Update:- Winter is being witnessed in most states. Dense fog is being recorded in many states in the morning and evening. Air pollution has been increasing continuously in Delhi for the last few days. On Saturday, AQI was also measured at more than 300 in most areas of Delhi. The pressure in the southwest Bay of Bengal has again become a cyclonic storm.
The Meteorological Department has named the storm as Fengal. Fengal storm can wreak havoc in many parts of India. According to the Meteorological Department, the storm may land near Puducherry around noon on November 30.
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in North Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Yanam and Puducherry on November 30. Similarly, a yellow alert has been issued given heavy rains in Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Mahe Andaman and Nicobar Islands. IMD has issued a warning of dense fog for Uttar Pradesh till December 2.
Rain warning in these areas
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, cyclone Fengal can wreak havoc in Tamil Nadu. Heavy rains with thunderstorms can be seen in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kanchipet, Viluppuram, Kallakurichi and Cuddalore districts. A warning has been issued for heavy rains and thunderstorms in many Puducherry places.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Ranipet, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Perambalur, Ariyalur and Thanjavur. Heavy rains with lightning can be recorded in Tiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam districts and Karaikal areas.
According to the weather bulletin of the Meteorological Department, rain can be seen in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from November 30 to December 3. Similar weather is expected in Telangana, Mahe, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka till December 3. Coastal Karnataka may receive light rain from December 1 to December 3.

Given the cyclonic storm Fengal, the Puducherry government has ordered to keep schools and colleges closed on November 30. An alert regarding increased sea movement has been issued, and fishermen have been advised not to go to the seashores.
